Union Gas Supports Barton Secondary School Breakfast Program
At the core of Union Gas' commitment to the community is the Spectra Energy Foundation. Funded by Spectra Energy shareholders, this non-profit organization makes charitable grants to selected charitable organizations. Grant recipients must be recognized as a charitable organization registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
At Union Gas we direct our charitable giving to communities that fall within our service area, which extends throughout northern Ontario from the Manitoba border to the North Bay/Muskoka area, through southwestern Ontario from Windsor to just west of Toronto (excluding the GTA), and across eastern Ontario from Port Hope to Cornwall.
Like many large companies, Union Gas receives numerous funding requests and in order to make a significant impact on our communities, we have a focused giving program.
FOCUS AREAS
In alignment with our vision of becoming the Partner of
Choice for our communities and the Employer of Choice for
individuals, we invest in three primary areas of focus in
communities where we live and work.
